I don't know what you think of it, but I think it's hilarious. Maybe you're trying to bait people maybe not, but it cracked me up. The stone tablet thing is classic.

    And this:

[quote]Some concerned parties, including decency crusader C. Delores Tucker, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and members of the San Francisco-based What About The Children? Foundation, are calling for a boycott of church services until God issues an apology.<hr></blockquote>

...is spot-on. Anything that rips on Orrin Hatch is funny by definition.

I like that hebrew looking font they have on the tablets. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

The quote from Dr. Cornel West made it for me. Funny stuff. The one I liked recently was ...

crap I can't find it. Where'd the "Bush sends troops to West Nile" one go?

I don't know how the Onion is so good so often. Somehow it's never offensive either?

Everything from the Onion is hilarious

They make fun of everything, when they take a jab at your relegion or politics, you have to take it with a grain of salt.

You can get subscribtions to it through the mail, thats what i do.

The visual alone made me laugh out loud. I've never seen Michelangelo appropriated quite like this.

You all ever see those situations where an Onion story gets picked up as fact. Too ****ing funny. One was the terrorist telemarketers. Another was a story the Chinese government picked up from the Onion and republished it in a state run news paper.

The thing I think that makes it so good is that they are completely absurd and they play it 100% straight.

Speaking of taking things too seriously, does anyone remember <a href="http://www.theonion.com/onion3507/thinking_different.html"; target="_blank">this little gem</a>? I remember quite a few people giving Apple a verbal lashing when they read it.
