how fast to travel a mile at 50 seconds?

just took psat's and one of the questions was how fast are you going if you travel 1 mile in 50 seconds
haha, just bothered me cuz i'm not sure if i got it right and want to know

72 MPH.
3600 (seconds in an hour) ÷ 50 = 72.

Of couse we know that 1/5 =.2 and so 1/50 is 0.02 MPS. Why convert the units?
