  I think Hellen Hunt is overrated at this point in time. Shoulda suck to the small screen.

  ok, ok, k-pax was not dumb, it is, in fact, his best movie since he won the oscar. i thought k-pax had a chance to be great had they explored the whole alien/christ analogy, but they kind of let it slip by the wayside. (jeff bridges who was also in k pax made a better alien to earth movie, starman)
  
  my point was if you draw a line on american beauty <a href="http://us.imdb.com/Name?Spacey,+Kevin"; target="_blank">here</a> and look at the movies he did before he won his oscar and after, before being when he probably had to hustle for parts and after when he could pick and choose.
  
  before the oscar he probably had less input in a movie than after, do you follow? HE HASN'T MADE GOOD DECISIONS! IT'S BEEN DISAPPOINTING! that's all i meant to say. it's not whether k-pax is good or not. (but awesome? i think not.)
  
  he's never bad in movies, it's just that after the oscar he's tried to be more "bankable" and failed.
