A triple Hourray for Switzerland and the team of Allan guy who won the America's cup. They win 5/0.

After 150 years the cup went back in europe thanks to soft water's sailor.

Now you will respect the sailors of the lake of geneva.

I've always been a huge fan of semen.

I respected them too, but i find funny that one of the only countrie that do not have a seaside, win the america's cup. It's like if a nigerian won the world cup of ski.

    Chapeau bas Messieurs.

it wasn't the team of allen guy, it was a syndicate called 'alinghi'.

Ernesto Berterelli was the billionaire behind it, unfortunately, he's just about the only Swiss on the team... he basically bought the world's best sailors to win a cup for him.

More power to him. After they beat my Oracle/BMW boat, my support was with them, entirely. They thoroughly dominated Team New Zealand through the finals, too.

It'll be interesting to see where they conduct the next cup matches, probably in the Mediterranean... will be fun.

I guess there's Lake geneva, but that's not exactly ocean racing.

Damn US can't win it's own cup anymore. . . . why? because of that asshole Dennis Connor.

I assume, you meant "seamen? Otherwise, your proposition would probably be as G-Rated as Ra's pictures in another thread...

If alingi actually had an all swiss team they would not have won the cup, the fact is a billionaire bought himself a cup, simple as that. I do believe, however that we (New Zealanders) are the best sailors in the world. Not the swiss. Money talks though.

Well I agree with U what the money belongs. (beside Bertarelli, UBS was one of the main sponsors as well). But it was not money who pulled up the sails. It's the success of an international collaboration and a strong team. I can understand that U are angry. But U can be proud, U Kiwis have really the best sailors and without them Alinghi probably wouldn't won.

    PS:

Do U think I (as a swiss) have any chance to survive a trip trough NZ this year?

Not a chance in the world that you would survive. New Zealand is overrun with Killer Rabbits with Big Pointy Teeth this year.
