Is there a way to unstuff this file, and use it? It says "TheFile.sit has been protected by a password. Enter the password to unstuff, or something. How can I open this?

Well, the whole idea of a password protected file is that it can't be opened unless you have the password.
Depending on the strength of the encryption, it could take you anywhere from a few months to a few centuries to crack it.
Basically, the answer is no, you can't open it!
(unless you want to get the RC5 teams of the world involved!)
