Funky Quicktime movies

From time to time I download a movie from the web and it does this wierd thing where it will only show the first 30 seconds or so of the movie, but if you click back to near the beginning before the movie stops it will play more of the movie (not just replay the part I just watched). Sometimes you can "click back" several times.

Anyone had this experience? How do you fix it?

Rosetta worked like a charm. Thanks a million.

Now if I can just figure out why some AVI files won't play even with indeo quicktime in classic.
