In case you're planning to buy an iPod...

You should check out the AppleCare Support Discussion first, and go to the "Connection to a Computer" iPod forum. There's some pretty interesting stuff there. Two days ago, my iPod stopped synching with my computer. The computer doesn't recognize it at all - not as a corrupted volume...just like it's not even connected. The problem is more clearly outlined there, but unfortunately it appears to be VERY widespread. I still love my iPod, but if you are in the market, for God's sakes, buy it from CompUSA and get the extended warranty. For now, I've got to wait until payday to afford the $250 repair cost from Apple. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    here in europe, the warranty is ONE year, not some shitty 90 Days.
