Trash Troubles

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the threads. I need to empty the trash, but I am getting an insufficient privleges error. Is there any way to empty it without logging in as root?

Never mind. Problem solved. Though I am having some <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=001243"; target="_blank">other problems</a>.

Drag the contents to your desktop, empty the bin. Then drag everything back again and re-empty it. Make sure none of the files you are trying to deleate are open or being used.
