I have a powerbook G3 400 Mhz running OS X. Since OS X does not support DVD playback is there any software decoder out there that I can use.

Which version of the Powerbook do you have?

My Pismo handles DVD playback just fine in OS X.

Apple released the DVD player for OS X a while ago. Try Software Update and see if you missed it. Also, check in your OS X applications folder and see if it's there already.

OS X has supported DVD playback since 10.1, are you still running 10.0??? You need to upgrade!!
