  <a href="http://www.crucial.com/"; target="_blank">Crucial Memory</a> has a compatibility guarantee for the memory you select through their memory configurator. I recently bought a 512 MB stick through them that FINALLY worked, after I had unsuccessfully tried and returned three DIMMs from various sources. As far as I could tell, the memory you want to get is <a href="http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?Mfr+Productline=Apple+Performa&amp;m fr=Apple&cat=RAM&model=Performa+6300+Series+%28exc ept+6360%29&submit=Go" target="_blank">this type</a> but I suggest you go through the configurator yourself. Once you find the memory, they have spcifications for the memory and all that good stuff on the page. I based the selection off of <a href="http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112338"; target="_blank">this specification sheet</a> from apple's spec page.
