Hotmail with Mail

I've been trying to set my hotmail account up with mail, but i can't seem to get the settings right. The problem is that it says i have the wrong server address, but i don't know what the correct one is. I don't even know if Hotmail will work with mail at all, so if anyone can help i'd be very greatful! <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    i know only one guy who is using his hotmail account as pop. not with mail but still not-on-line.



    and i'm afraid he has paid to be able to do that

    You can't use Hotmail with Apple's Mail.app because I believe Hotmail uses some hacked up custom protocol that only allows certain programs like Microsoft Entourage to access it.
