Help!

I tried playing a DVD the other day and keep getting a 'DVD Player encountered a serious error. Unknown Error : 1634955892'.

I have tried reinstalling the DVD player ( v 3.2 ), updating Jaguar to 10.2.2 and all to no avail.

Took it down to the Mac shop in Manhattan. They had no clue.

Anyone out there in macdom who has seen this and knows what to do?

Any help most appreciated.

A.

    Yep, every DVD.

The only software installed since is the developer tools.

I'm going to try and uninstall them but it seems a bit quirky as it were...

I would try to delete the preferences of Apple DVD Player. They're in /Users/xxx/Library/Preferences/ search for something like com.apple.dvdplayer.plist ...
