Just updated my 5 gig iPod

Worked like a charm. Now has 20 eq settings, contact list (to show your address/phone numbers, etc.) and more new features. And as usual, all for free. Even has a reset setting now. Apple does do some things right.

    Its missing the play/search by genre setting...

    Search by genre would be nice. Apple have done a nice job of this update though. The new features are really good. Has anyone checked to see if there is any sort of partial caching on large files or are we still chopping them up to save the battery?

    How do you get V-cards onto the Ipod? I couldn't find a way to export all my contacts on my Handspring as a V-Card file. (contrary to what the instruction on my iPod said)



    All I have is my address book in OS X, which has a limited amount of contacts. You'd think there'd be a more in-dept tutorial in Apple's site somewhere.

    I checked this myself last night, selected a 77 min MP3. The hard disk spins up, stays running for a few econds and then spins down, brilliant
