Play control in Quicktime X appear intermittently when I'm travelling on the train?

Mid 2013 MacBook Air. Happens while watching a movie. I'd love to know why this is happening. I don't go near the trackpad.

Did you make sure to disable telepathy in system prefs > accessibility?

I suspect the vibration of the train is triggering the trackpad sensor but there might be a 'wake' event if it picks up new wifi networks as the train is travelling along or interference from mobile phone towers.

Try using VLC during the journey to see if it wakes up too. If not, it's a Quicktime X issue. You can also set the laptop on a towel or piece of foam to eliminate vibration and in a separate test, disable wifi.

I don't see that option. I assumes it was train vibrations, I just wanted to be sure it wasn't a faulty trackpad and I wanted a way to disable it.

    I usually have Wifi disabled.

P.S. Unrelated: I cannot get Grab.app (build 13A603) to take a screen of this full window.
