From the release notes:
Apple last updated iTunes in October amid a flurry of first-party app refreshes associated with the debut of OS X Mavericks. In that release, the digital media hub gained compatibility with Apple's latest Mac operating system. This version of iTunes resolves an issue where the equalizer may not work as expected and improves performance when switching views in large iTunes libraries. This update also includes additional minor bug fixes.

I hope that it also solves the random crash issue in OS X Mavericks. Was getting really annoying that after a while iTunes would just crash for no reason.
11.1.2 is awful. Hopefully this is more than a "minor" fix. It frequently hangs or crashes during a sync, it "forgets" movies, tv shows and audiobooks, as noted the equalizer doesn't work and most recently I was unable to update iOS on my iPhone. At first I thought that was the phone's fault, but given all the other problems with iTunes it was likely the application.
Hopefully Apple will move towards a web based iTunes. One way or another it needs a complete overhaul. Although 11.1.2 was an abomination , iTunes in general has become more unwieldy and difficult to use. Originally it was designed for downloading and copying music to iPods. It has not been able to keep up with managing music, videos and audiobooks both locally and on the cloud for the myraid of devices it now must support.
With 11.1.2 - lost ability to update/change Artwork on mp4 files on local NAS.
With 11.1.3 - ability has not returned.
This did work just fine before 11.1.2.
Note: other metadata does update > !?
Don't recall seeing iTunes Radio in Australia before.

I agree - perhaps an overhaul is needed. I'm still using iTunes 10.7, mostly because I don't like some of the "downdates" (oh, updates according to Apple, sorry!) - in other words the removal of features, such as having the choice of a dark background (I don't like the bright white), or resizing of album art, just to name a few. Unfortunately iTunes 10 won't sync with OS7, not that I'm too bothered, unless I buy a new iPad, of course, which I'm considering. Although it's still better than other media players such as Windows Media Player. Although my biggest gripe is iTunes complains with a popup message which you have to dismiss if you are not connected to the internet when you start it. Anyway, version 10.7 also crashes sometimes, which is annoying. Seems Apple still hasn't worked out all the bugs. Apple, it's version 11 for goodness sake.
It seems to have fixed the problem of hanging at "finishing sync" at least.
