Are you kidding? There’s probably a thread already filling up in Apple’s discussion forums with people bitching about yellow tint, battery life, Wi-Fi, iOS 7’s icons, scratches, screen size, memory management, apps that won’t work, and a million other things. A few have already dropped their retina minis and expect a free replacement and are going ballistic when told accidental damage isn’t covered by the warranty and they didn’t buy extended Applecare because they shouldn’t have to.
And all of them are whining about how Steve is dead and Apple is going down the tubes and what happened to QA and don’t they test this stuff before they release it, and the retina mini is EPIC FAIL!
<extreme, angry sarcasm> I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
The resellers have been burned by the iPad so many times now. They say they only want the gold iPhone when I walked by a line of people outside the Apple Store on my way to the gym this morning.
When I was in our local apple store last week, I asked how the gold 5s was selling. The guy said "we have a line of 5-6 people waiting to buy them every morning when we open, and they sell out every day by 11am".
This quarter is going to be interesting. I'm sure MS and blackberry wish they had apple's "problems"...
"I got 99 problems but poor sales ain't one" - apologies to Ice-T.
Anyone recently this morning try an AppleStore? I've always felt like the employees tend to 'shoo' people away if they can before opening if it's something so unknown like this... Or pull the, 'We don't know when the delivery truck will arrive...' and then 10 minutes later, 'Yes we do have them!'
Here in Ireland it's showing 5-10 business days for all models. Just checked around Europe and it's showing the same for Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy. However both Germany and the UK are showing 1-3 days for WiFi only 16GB and 32GB.models. Russia and Turkey are still showing no launch date yet. Not sure why the British and Germans get special treatment. Maybe they're Apple's most important European markets.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Mini 'in the flesh'. Probably have to wait a bit, though, since I haven't seen the iPad Air on display locally, yet. Sigh...:\
They really aren't selling out fast. Maybe they expected way more demand? I would assume people would know about it by now (the early adopters that buy on opening day that is). Such a weird release they did...

Best but announced they'll have them in select stores.
Dummy accounts for the dummy - how apropos.

Buy them Galaxy tablets and they'll turn on you like werewolves.
I got the 16gb wifi space grey retina mini. Ships in 2 days. We'll see if my wife will trade me for her 32GB iPad 3 retina wifi . . .
Saw the Mac Pro is still unavailable for order, but it's "only" $2700 with my wife's student discount. . . =-o
Dont I know it. I tried gift the Galaxy line of products and the nexus 7 all I got were complaints.

Thanks, I needed that.

Highest population markets in the EU?
Surprised that France is not on that list, though....
Well, Hello, my new friend and buddy!!
I think the French sued Apple over some anti-socialistic bullshit. Apple said, "No soup for you!"
High margin=ripping consumers off
then later posted by jobsonmyface
Hypocrite!
Good riddance!
No Apple stores have any configuration available for pickup... the article title kinda already told you that.
Yes, but I had to try. After all, the original report itself was a rumor. Today I'll visit some locations to see for myself.
The UK online store is quoting 1 to 3 days wait for the wi-fi 16 and 32 GB models, all other retina minis have a 5 to 10 day wait time.
Ha, good catch.
And don't forget Italy, which also has a substantial population! Curious...

Nobody's keeping score.
