    The "dead pixel" doesn't render correctly in OmniWeb. I had to look at the site in IE in order to get what you were talking about.

    DreamWeaver does that sometimes when you link a banner and have text around it, then remove the text or something like that. It's happened to me before, just html text that is linked.
