Well, what is - they should not be down for such a long time this near to the biggest Apple Keynote in History!

    The are going to have a new ISp the server still has to be moved. how will they run a irc channle if it keeps going down. hmm

    AI always goes down around keynote time. Sometimes for several days. One time, it was gone so long, I thought we had killed it Get used to it. Now, where can we go to get updates if we can't watch the webcast?

    But now we're on a different server so AI shouldn't go down.

    • Much faster.

    • Moderatable. Now we can make sure that some troll doesn't ruin the chat.

    • You can register your nick. No more impersonators.

    • Banning, kicking. Can't do this with AIM.

    and many more things.. styles.. scripts (protection, any other scripts that disrupt the room aren't allowed)

    The front pages are on different servers from the Forums.



    I only vouch for the forums when I say they will not go down (unless the ISP gets DOS'ed again)

    Also so you all know nick told me the irc chat server is also ran on a diff computer. so hmm 3 comps to run it. heh get ride of the stupid pc's you run them on and run them on a dam mac. :
