There were just a bunch of family pictures and stuff I didn't figure were as important as my computer stuff. I live in Maryland, so there is no particular reason for the midwest theme, it just kinda happened.
And for those of you who care, the pics you see are actually being hosted off the beige G3 in the picture. I've got the whole house networked via cat-5 ethernet, a G4/350 (AGP) in the next room, and upstairs is an old 6100/60. I also have about 6 Mac plus/SE/classics that I scrap for parts... so many macs... Anyone interested in buying a Macintosh SE in it's original box? (used of course) 1MB RAM!!!!
\tMy GOD, how many of you people actually live in the 'clean-rooms' i see in your pictures? "A cluttered desk is a sign of productivity"... anyway.
</strong><hr></blockquote>False! A cluttered (and dirty) desk is a sign of messiness and (very) poor organizational skills!
Thumbs up to those of us who prefer organized, neat (and clean) offices in our homes. You will never see a messy desk or exposed batch of wires in my house.
I am afraid to see what some of your bathrooms look like! j/k.

There are only two, by necessity, cords coming from my comp desk. A phone line and a power cord . Both hooked up to surge protector, of course (hidden in the closet.) All of the rest of the wires are tucked nicely away...then again I do have an iMac so there aren't many to go around, mouse cord is threaded through flip out foot to eliminate excess cord length, and keyboard cord is bundled up underneath the iMac, Zip USB cord is only visible right behind the drive. I love a clean desk .
Hey Leonis. Yeah, i've been neglecting AI a bit recently.. I've been busy with grad school auditions, but they're over now.. I got a letter from Rice University yesterday - full tuition scholarship! I can breathe again Also, an assistantship with Wisconsin/Madison, though Rice is a better school so i think i'll turn down the assistantship (it pays $$, but i think it would be more valuable to go to Rice).
Anyway, yeah, i still have the Pismo. OS X runs ok, actually, even with what little RAM i have. I wish i could get a TiBook, but i can't really justify the cost right now. I still have to pay for living expenses next year in Houston (if i do end up going there, which seems likely at this point), and since i won't have any gigging connections in a new city, i don't know how much money i'll be making.
why is it that is seems that every one here who uses both PC's and Macs have pictures with their computers opened up, and random hardware strewn about? lol, here i thought i was odd, now i know i'm just one of many.

Can't believe you are still with the Pismo
By the way. How is OS X running on a Pismo? Decent?
