I am surprised that analyst and blogs haven't already started talking about iPhone 7 or iPhone 42? I like Tim's response to question about catching up to Samsung display size. That is exactly what I told someone. iPhone 6Plus is a better large display phone. Apple tried very hard for it to still be single hand use phone.

TC states "Apple should only enter areas where Apple can control the primary technology".

    > does this mean that Apple Maps is soon to be discontinued?

"'There are products we're working on that no one knows about, yes. That haven't been rumored about yet,' Cook said."

This was followed up by a titillating bit of foreshadowing from Jony Ive:

"With Apple Watch, we designed the most personal and intimate device ever. To take this revolution even further, we knew we had to imagine something even more personal and intimate that something you wear, and that means something you put inside you."

    Introducing... the iVibe.

Why, because Apple isn’t in control of where roads are built?

There are going to be millions of switchers.  They can and will dump their Android handsets if the only reason they got them was for the bigger screens.  And if they're into band-aid-textured faux leather, I'm sure there will be at least one case maker who will ship a band-aid-textured faux leather case for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.  <img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

Cook can't win no matter what he does.

    You know what they say:

"You're doomed if you do, and doomed if you don't".

New product categories that no-one has discussed?

With the situation in the world, a lucrative area would be smart bombs.

Possible things Apple might be working on: 3D printer, Hardware devices for Music, A desk sized iPad with pressure sensitivity (you notice I didn't say Coffee Table sized), VR goggles, Apple TV with DVR and game controllers, Apple Kitchen & Home appliances, Light Bulbs, Professional Video editing equipment, Smart Shoes, and finally I can't forget about the electric car!

I admit I didn't like Jobs, personally I didn't like him, as I was privy to a lot of stories about him while working on Keynote. But Jobs was a master of this industry, he motivated people, he excited the public and he was adamant about perfection in the software and hardware. I think as Cook says, Jobs' vision is still the foundation of the company, that will never go away. That is so true, I could see it and feel it working there even after Jobs died. I like Cook, he's cunning, he a good speaker, he's not as interesting as Jobs as a personality, but I think his business savvy will propel Apple profits and the stock price almost double in the next few years.

    It's the new iSore™!

(which will apply to any building unfortunate enough

to be too close to the new Apple campus).

It's a very interesting product. Leo Laporte ordered one so I guess we'll see what he can do with it.

Given Cook's unprecedented "creativity", he is probably talking about the iSocks 2.

Seriously your posts are getting tiresome. All you do is bitch and whine with so much damn negativity.

    Don't take it so personally.

I love your enthusiasm, Slurpy, but you don't have to defend Apple single-handedly. Allow people to be silly, especially when making fun of rumours.

They are working on Siri the robot. She will clean your house, do your laundry, wash the floors, cook your dinner and be wearing lingerie when you get home from work. Simultaneously they'll release the quick and easy iDivorce app.

    </sexist rant>

I wish there wouldn't have been a rumor about Apple watch and boom, at the Keynote, Tim Cooks' "One More Thing" would've given people orgasm.
