THe debugger requires a 68k mac hooked to the PowerMac with a standard printer cable. If anyone wants the builds send me an email at [email protected] and I can give you the address for my OS X FTP Server.
The early builds require it but the later build doesn't... it will sucessfully boot without a debugger but if it crashes it takes down the whole machine forcing a hard reboot.

Copland has it's own kernel (NuKernel) so i doubt that 2 kernels would talk to each other well, it would be like trying to run Mac OS X in MOL, it probly isn't going to happen...
otoh if MOL provides a complete VM, it just might, but i highly doubt that it would run.

The older build needs System 7.1 Is it possible to run 7.1 in MOL? This would be pretty cool if it would

Actually, it would have to be 7.1.2 - the first version of the system software to support PowerPC. This would most likely be possible, since there is 601 emulation in MoL. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get it to boot something other than Mac OS 9 on my iBook...

I E-Mailed you and haven't got a response...

Mac OS 9 has a kernel, no?

System 7.5.3 has to be installed before Copland will even install... anyone tried it on MOL yet?

But...can't you copy over the stuff from the earlier build??
Also, MOL will in fact emulate a PPC 601 - it is just a matter of finding the ROM for an old Power Mac and getting Copland to boot...

[edit: never mind. I got it on VersionTracker]
