Best Laptop Cases/Bags

in General Discussion edited January 2014
Hey guys,

I know that this thread is somewhat related to my last one (Hardware/Software Suggestions for College Student) because Applenut suggested buying a good laptop case/bag. However, what are the best ones? What do you guys suggest?

I've looked around a bit and like the <a href=""; target="_blank">Waterfield Designs</a> bags best. (Cargo series)

<a href=""; target="_blank">My Backpack</a> but they dont make my color anymore (Dark Blue, Gray, Black). I plan on buying a sleeve for it sometime soon. Maybe a SleevCase but I have a <a href=""; target="_blank">Tote & Tilt</a> on my TiBook so that makes my already odd sided notebook a little odder.

<a href=""; target="_blank"></a> . They make great bags and their sleeves are specifically designed to hold the ibook or powerbook (yes, these are 2 different sleeves). Their design is excellent and the bags are waterproof. They are not your typical stuffy computer bag, which I like. And you can customize your bag how you like it. Even if you don't buy from them, you should check out their site for a useful implementation of flash animation...

The very versatile Kensington Saddle Bag. My Ti (with handle) fits in perfectly, plus there is plenty of room of other stuff, i.e. my CanoScan, ZipDrive, mouse, gel mouse mat, cables, tent, sleeping bag... o.k., I was kidding about the last two items

Yeah, Timbuk2 was one of the premier courier shops in the 90's. Their bags are pretty much indestructible. I worked as a bike courier in Atlanta from 94 - 96 with one of their bags. Still have it and use it today.
