Paydiant's offerings are described as "technology agnostic," based on QR codes or NFC rather than demanding specific hardware.
That is why this will be an inferior, still born dung at introduction.

All these recent "unveilings" by bottom-barrel-feeder companies like Scamsung, Google, and PayPal, with ?Pay competitor wanna-be's, is quite laughable.

Apple Pay, just like like the iPhone, has set off a chain reaction of events by companies which have completely rested on their laurels and lazily relied on existing sources of revenue. A lot of these late to the party will eventually be out of business or they'll have to panic sell their business before they disappear.
Kind of reminds us of what Microsoft did with Windows Phone, doesn't it?

Well, somehow they've apparently solved that problem, at least judging by the size of their huge asses.

    And they are huge

Do you know how many people shop at Walmart, It would not surprise me if Walmart got a significant number of their "People of Walmart" to sign up to pay from their bank accounts. Of these people not sure how much Visa and others care if they have the People of Walmart signed up for a CC. Most of these people do not even have teeth to eat the food they buy at Walmart.

Walmart shoppers have bank accounts , really?

Yes a lot of people shop at WalMart. The problem is how many have Bank accounts, Checking accounts!!!  Let alone a Smart phone and would even use this?  I know a lot of people that don't have bank accounts.  You have ZERO protection if you used CurrectC.  To get around transaction fee's of credit cards which is the #1 purpose, they need direct access to your bank account.   Paypay allows you to do this also.  Go do some Google Searching on Horror stories of trying to get their money back from paypal!!!   With a Credit Card you're Liable for up to $50.  I've never paid a penny.   I've had to replace my Credit Card for the last 3 years from fraud.

A single Store, no matter how large Walmart is, isn't going to get CurrectC anywhere.  it's Best Buy, Lowes, and all the other stores backing it right now, which in time will dump it.  Or at the very least start accepting Apple Pay and Google Wallet and in the end CurrectC will fail.   The whole direct bank access, and QR codes means it'll fail.  having to load in a 3rd party App means it'll fail.  That goes for CurrectC and it goes for PayPal.   I use Paypay all the time Online, but it's linked to my Credit Card.  I'm not going to use it over Applepay.  I refuse to use CurrectC.  Which by the way was already Hacked once.  No thanks.

Lol so far current C is.  It has been in limited beta now for about a year.  Anyone who would want to use that archaic method of payment deserves what they get.  Worst part of it is that to fully utilize current c you have to give them your bank account number.  What a crock.

I always get stuck behind the ones using their state issued government assistance card (food stamps in plastic). I notice this only because there is always a discussion on how much credit is still on the card and what items are not eligible for purchase. Fun times.

I agree it most likely will fail, but I still suspect Walmart will still manage to get a significant number of their only shop at Walmart customer to sign up. It like when Walmart give a credit for the guaranty low price, they give on a store account which means the credit has to be spent in Walmart. Walmart does not want their shopper spending their money at any other places. People with chooses will not choose a Walmart solution that is for sure.
