A newer Canon GL1 (GL2/GL1s)
The Canon GL1, as scrumtrulescent as it is, has remained unchanged for more than a year (by my estimates), while it's big brother, the XL1, has been upgraded to the XL1s, giving it the extras that only the GL1 enjoyed.
As of late, Canon has been offering a $250 rebate on the GL1 - this is the only rebate being offered in their entire line of digital camcorders. Is it reasonable to expect a feature bump (GL2/GL1s) soon? Any Canon insiders/employees care to comment? I'm going to have enough money for a GL1 about the end of this month, but I'll hold out if a new one's around the corner. Thanks for the input, guys!
