[quote] Apple has applied for a trademark for Junkyard on July 12, 2002:

G & S: computer hardware; computer software; computer peripherals; instructional manuals packaged in association therewith.

iPicture and Gigawire have been other recent Apple trademarks which has yet to become part of announced products. <hr></blockquote>

It's obvious what this is for. Once they have trademarked the term "Junkyard" they intend to nail our very own Junkyard Dog for trademark infringement :eek: I guess his constant complaining finally pushed Steve over the edge! Who will be next?!? Conspiracy theorists of the World, unite!

    Just like when Apple trademarked ADC, when the Apple Doomsday Clock also had the same initials. <a href="http://www.netherworld.com/~mgabrys/clock/"; target="_blank">http://www.netherworld.com/~mgabrys/clock/</a>;

    Well I'm under NDA on this, but I can say a bit:

    Some of my, ah, "predictions" have been a little too close to home on Apple. Jobs checked out my posts, and apparently he dug some of my ideas about Apple and where they should go. Thus I've been "asked" to act as a sort of consultant to Steve Jobs. But it sucks because I never get to meet him! Not only that, but I don't even leave Michigan! Jobs sent an errand boy out to interview me and get things rolling, and now Jobs and I converse over email. I suggested he give me a copy of Jaguar so we could "iChat", but he told me I could go buy it like everyone else, "I buy all of my Apple software, so you can too, Bozo!". Yeah Steve but I'm not a Billionaire.

    Anyways that's all I can say. You'll probably notice that my posts have fewer ideas about what Apple needs to do, because once I share that with Jobs, it's under NDA. Honestly, I don't think he listens to ANYTHING I say, really what I think this is about is that I'm sort of like Steve's "Joker". LIke back when royality had jokers in their courts and all. He's very abusive to me as well--I'm his bitch in every sense of the word.
