My B&W Tower is named Morpheus. My PB G4 is named Neo. The server in my house is named oracle. The servers at work are all named after egyptian Gods like Re (pronounced Rah), Isis, and Ka. All of those machines are Macs.
The windows machines that I use are named things like hermaphrodite, and stupid.
My PB G4 OS X is named Oberon. When using tghe OS 9 system, it appears on network as Lysander. And when booted from an external FW HD under OS X, it is named Puck.

Though I hang my head in shame for daring to mention the names of my work PC's (both Dell's) in a thread that is asking the name of My Mac (of which I have none), I humbly submit that I have two Dell machines named Melkor and Ungoliant. For those Mac fans who are familiar with the back plot of the Lord of the Rings universe, I am sure that you will find these to be appropriate names for black Dell boxes.

are you a fan of Zelazny ?
My Cube has 4 partitions, Hobbiton (smallest, os9), Rivendell (Loveliest-10.2), Moria (darkest 10.1 and vPC) and Minas Tirith (biggest!)
BTW my LOTR:FOTR DVD ROCKS
My old 9600 had a 2 gig SCSI disk that was called "I am a ****in' piece of shit" (honest)
My Mom would always complain every time she used it

I used to call my work computer Upyerass. So when coworkers asked me where a certain file was I could just say, "Upyerass!" No, really I did...
And my TiPB is "Vision"

I believe Stephane is alluding to Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
(Though, I suppose that doesn't rule out the possiblity of being a Zelazny fan.
My 5500/225 is named 'shithead' or 'the mac'
My current PC is named 'the Duronite'
Here's hoping my next computer is a Mac.
