Woz is an utter douche though.

I'm glad having a lot of money was not enough for her to shut this down. Her failure means everyone else can form their own opinion, hopefully AFTER actually seeing the movie.

youre assuming this report is accurate. im not certain of that, considering WSJ's record.

form your own opinion? you cant form your own opinion on whether it was accurate or not -- you never knew the man. you can only form your own opinion on whether it's an entertaining 90 minutes. you get that, right?

sog35, I'm sure you don't intend to imply that everyone who's paid for consultation or testimony or fact-checking is dishonest....

i think his point is that Woz isnt an impartial viewer. hes a consultant on the product itself. inherently biased in his perspective of said product.

Coverups can be worse than the "crimes". So much moolah at stake, particularly on Apple's side.

Why is Tim Cook allowed to mouth off (and win awards) but Josh Begley (author of Metadata+) isn't? Concession to the CIA and NSA?

mouth off? what in god's name are you talking about?

are you mad that he's gay, bro?

No, are you a member of the Thought Police, too, along with Apple?

All characters appearing in this film are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

    Problem: solved

Or, this film is loosely based on real life events.

What's ironic is that if you want to make a movie about Thor or Iron-Man and you don't get script sign off from the owners of those fictional characters, then you won't get to make your movie. Whereas fictional movies about real people (alive or dead) can contain anything ridiculous or unflattering, and no one can stop you.

The audience can judge all they want but if it's inaccurate it will all be moot.

Kinda difficult to get a script sign off from god.

Steve was controversial while he was alive. Why should it be any different now that he's dead?

One only has to read Woz's useless Twitter feed to see how totally irrelevant he has become to the world of tech.

It would be kind of funny if the movie makers include Laurene Jobs in the movie as a monstrous, evil villain just to spite her hahaha.

Former husband would mean they were divorced.

More accurate would be "deceased husband" though just “husband" would do as well..

Of course he's mad. It's why people like this guy use such descriptive language such as "mouth off", and "bully pulpit" (WhiteFalcon) among much worse things, to describe Tim Cook speaking about any topic surrounding equality or human rights. I don't know what the **** this metadata guy has to do with Cook, or why it should affect what Cook chooses to say. There aren't some overlords deciding what Cook is "allowed" to say- I'm pretty sure he's free to make these decisions himself.

As if those saying critical things about Steve can't be biased or don't have an ax to grind.

Because in the early years, Woz was the closest with him - they started the freaking company together.
