You should know better than to give out stock advice. ????

She bought 500 shares pre-split at $560, so 3500 shares post-split at an average of $80, plus every dividend since it was restarted, so it's not too much of a hassle to take her calls. :-)

Wouldn't he already be three months into a self-ban on the Apple-will-be-$150-by-year-end bet? So he shouldn't be around for the April one-year-of-Watch-sales anniversary.

Well, I guess I'll be one of the numbers. I took advantage of the Best Buy deal to get a Sport $50 off. I'm super excited for it to arrive in the mail.

This cut included most of all versions, even the Apple Watch Edition (50%). Also, you see the US retailers, such as Bestbuy and Target, sell Apple Watch with discounts (in different ways).

So I wonder how much does Apple Inc sell those watch products to the retailer in a grand scale? This will lead to another question, what is the really revenue of Apple Inc for selling those watches?

Just estimation the number of sales cannot reflect the true revenue. Hopefully Apple will report its sale. Otherwise, it would be another hobby product.

Wow! That's pretty shocking. Tim Cook specifically said that the Edition would be sold in very limited quantities. I've been wondering just how long Apple intended to continue sales considering how "limited" it was supposed to be, I was expecting them to discontinue it after the holidays at any rate. But cutting the price by half at a major Apple partner, an extremely high profile partner at that, is pretty big news. It's a slap in the face to customers who paid full price, and kind of thumbs the nose at Cook's statement that a very limited amount would be sold. Putting a luxury item on sale like that when only limited quantities are supposedly available seems very inconsistent, and poor form. I mean 50% off!? That's stunning. It reminds of me of the 20th Anniversary Mac which sold for 10K, until Jobs took over and slashed it down to under $1,000 by the time it was all over. Obviously not in the same class, but eerily similar.

I just got my Apple Watch a couple days ago.   I didn't go new, I went USED.  It was hardly used, Looks brand new.  Paid $300 for the 42mm Space Grey version and it included 3 extra watch bands, the Red, Blue and White straps and a second charger.  Now I'll have a charger for use in a watch stand and another I can simply take with me.   If I didn't buy used, I would have waited until at least a second generation version.

The screen looks amazing.  I think it runs pretty nice.  The only time that it's slow to me is loading up 3rd party Apps/data from the iphone.  I wish I could wear it every day, but I can't wear it at work.  I think it would get damaged/scratched with what I do.  Maybe if I put some type of case on it, but I don't want the case on it all the time, only when at work.  I do really like it.  I don't normally wear a watch, but the Apple watch I can't even really feel it.  It feels nice and doesn't weigh much.  The text messages and whatnot, getting on the watch, not having to pull out my phone and see what it says is really nice.

I got mine as an open box from Best Buy. It is the gold sport with midnight blue band. The only thing open about the box was the cellophane removed from outer box. The watch and accessories were still in their original packaging. I don't usually wear a watch but after wearing it a few days I hardly feel I have it on at all. It is lightweight and the sport band is very comfortable. Battery life is very good too. I love the notifications and having information available on my wrist. I am so used to having it on now that I feel naked if I don't have it on. Kind of like you feel when you don't have your cell phone with you. I think this is a great first step with wearables and I am intrigued with where developers and Apple will take it next. Third party apps do have a bit of lag, but it is not as bad as some make it out to be. Of course the next version will be better, but that's true of all tech. I don't think it is so bad as to wait for version 2 as it is a very capable device on its own. Might buy a couple of bands off of eBay as I do think they are overpriced but overall am happy with my purchase.

Since Apple still has $30 to go for the $150 by the end of the 2015. I must say you are probably right about his absence in the April :)

Wow! What a surprise to learn that those of us here who knew the Apple Watch would be a hit were right. ;)

Apple takes its time and gets it right.

I knew what you say. It is not price cut for its entire inventory. However, it post as a promotion gesture for such products.

Have you ever seen half price of iPhone even it is way cheaper than a Apple Watch Edition? Why is there no doorbuster sale for any iPhone? Because the iPhone sale is so well or.....?

You do know that most Iphone sales ARE NOT THROUGH STORES.

So, there you got you're god damn answers.

There are often big sales on other Apple items in stores.
