eMacs are supposed to be all made for education, so my question is, do games work on it? This may sound like a stupid question but on all the game boxes for macs it says requirements: iMac, PowerMac, or iBook never eMac.

Sorry, just felty like saying that. The eMac has the GeForce 2 MX w/32 MB of RAM. While, the iMac has the GeFoce 4 MX /w 32 MB of RAM. Since there isn't too much difference between the gf 2 and 4, it should perfore just a little worse than the iMac. So, yeah games can be played on the eMac, and not too badly. It's definatly not a gamers machine though.
It is actually only the 17" iMac that has the GeForce 4. All 3 versions of the 15" have the GeForce 2.
You won't set any frame rate records with the eMac, but it's decent consider it's low price.
In the SoHo (and probably all) Apple Store, they have a table with 6 eMacs all surrounded by people playing GAMES on them .... the area is set up for kids, but of course was full of adults.
