    What you want is a really dark blue that looks black, but is actually blue...

    but it's how to match the bands. You can't have dark bands with the light back and white bands don't sit too well with the black front. Maybe they could get away with color-matched bands.

    A darker back will look nice, even if it has a blue tint:



    The slate black iPhone 5 has a nicer appearance than Space Grey, it just showed up scratches and fingerprints too easily.
