When I ordered my new MacBook Pro I also ordered the Belkin Gigabit Ethernet to USB-C adapter. I didn't choose that specific one for any particular reason other than it was on Apple's site, making it convenient since I was placing an order anyway.
Since then I've received an email telling me it's back-ordered and is going to take a few weeks to ship. I see there are lots of alternatives from Monoprice and other vendors on Amazon, most being less than half the price of the Belkin. Does anyone here have any experience with these things? Is there any reason to believe there may be compatibility issues or that one adapter may be better than another?
