A regular occurrence for the CEO, Tim Cook stood inside the glass doors of the Apple Store just before opening time, reports CNBC. While the doors opened, a countdown was performed by staff, then cheers erupted as the first people in the queue made their way into the store.

Cook himself stepped outside the storefront to greet the initial customers, shaking their hands and sharing a few words, as well as taking selfies. A few minutes later, Cook returned inside the store to continue meeting attendees.

The only other brand that I can think of that has this level of devotion, is Star Wars, with the fans waiting out front of theaters to buy movie tickets.

Which guy?  The one that made your car?  The one you bought your house from?  The one you're renting your place from?  The restaurant you're buying your dinner from?  The supermarket you're buying your groceries from?

Make an iPhone knockoff yourself if you feel you can provide a better deal and save money.

No maybe, DEFINITELY Harry Potter  My wife and her brother are obsessed with the franchise and the excitement of meeting someone else who’s just as passionate about it rivals only SW and Apple loyalists.

He needs to travel to other stores sometime. Give more people a chance to meet him. I remember back in 2013 I believe, Woz was staying at a hotel on the beach literally 2 miles from my house. Didn’t get a chance to meet him, but it was pretty cool to know he was right here in a little town within a midsize city.

My Gold 512GB Xs Max was delivered this morning by FedEx about 10:30am. This was the smoothest transition from one iPhone (7+) to the next ever. Even the switch for my WATCH Series 3 connection from the 7+ to the Xs Max was almost uneventful. This is by far the most amazing iPhone ever. Thank you Tim and all the hard working Apple employees who made this day possible.
