Well, the topic pretty much says it all.

I like the changes, great job!

EXCEPT for the new smilies.

I just don't like the anti-aliasing and stuff.

I know, I know. I'm wayyyy too picky.

Just giving my feedback.

They are all about the same color as the ones they replaced, some even more saturated.

And as for the antialiasing, you people must have loved Windows 98's great sharpness!

    Get a better monitor.

I am on a damn expensive SUN monitor, so that's not the problem.

The problem is taste, I suppose.

The new ones just look more childish somehow.

Jonathan specifically requested a Devil/Demon emoticon (it wasn't my idea), so I don't think that will be taken out.

As for the and , yes, I too think they look a bit off. The grin is too big, perhaps? I'll have to mess with them a bit.

Another issue with the antialiasing: Since everything on AI now is antialiased, (if you're using a good browser) the older, pixelated icons looked *really* out of place.

The smileys look amazing in OS X.

Spart, try making the closed eye on the winky guy a lot flatter.

The new smileys are pretty and smooth and shaded. In technical terms, they're flat-out bitchin'.

    So stop yours.

    Ooga-booga!

What is it that's so different? I tried to duplicate it as exactly as possible...even down to the timing in the gif animation.

The "wide grin" doesn't look as comically bizarre as the old one did . The and look like they have lashes that are, dare I say, valleygirl, and the has this strange upper lip. I LOVE the !
