Apple's website doesn't mention the series 6. Seems like they have discontinued it! I was hoping that its price will come down after Series 7 launch lol.
You likely have the next week to buy them in store at Apple, and not after that. Best Buy / Staples et al might have them at a discount after that.
I suggest focusing on the model you want and don't worry on the band. There are multitudes of band options, both similar and beyond Apple's offerings, on eBay...and at fractions of the price. If there's a difference between their Milanese and Apple's (other than $120), then I sure don't see it. Considering this AW 7 matches the same sizes previously, my dozen+ bands will work.

Wow. It doesn't even come with a charger. If you are a new Apple Watch owner and order one of these, you will be stuck with a dead Apple Watch until you can go out and buy one. Super cheap thing to do. Even a basic Android watch comes with a charger.
It says a USB-C charging cable is in the box. What is not included is a wall plug with a USB-C port on it.
If you have an iPhone 12 or 13 or recent iPad likely you have the plug, but yes thats another $25 CAD to add in if you don't
I don't have any of that, including $25CAD. The old USB-A chargers I have from my AWs0 will have to suffice.
I misread the web site. It sounded like there was no charger at all. Honestly the Apple Watch charger should have a wall plug on the end of it not a USB C. Then there would be no confusion.

Personally, Id rather wait an extra week or two to get the exact combo I want, instead of compromising in any way just to get something less on release day. Fuck that. I got my 13 Pro Max yesterday, two weeks after its release, and I love it just as much as my day one 12 Pro Max from last year. I honestly don’t understand this obsession people have with getting everything on the first day like we’re all 12 years old again and need our toys to give us bragging rights and to validate our lives. It’s a little culty…and a little stressful.

I’ve ordered a couple non-Apple bands and been disappointed with the quality. On the non-Apple Milanese loop band the color started wearing off within a week.
I’m sure there are high-quality non-Apple bands out there but you take your chances. Apple bands are expensive but at least you get a quality product.

Good point. When I got my first replacement band (from Apple), this lady I worked with asked me if the color wore off onto my clothes. I guess that’s a problem with 3rd party bands? Anyway, that ended any curiosity I had in experimenting.

I guess it's the classic "1 expensive vs 10 inexpensive". Personally, out of the 15 bands I've ordered over the years on eBay (between $10-$50 ea), I've only had 1 or 2 go bad. That includes the silver Milanese which is in great shape (ordered when I got Apple Watch 2 in 2017); so much so, I ordered a black Milanese version. I agree you'll get quality assurance with Apple, but with the 10 or so bands you can get in a variety of styles and colors, I see no value in 1 band at $150 for personally a minimal issue.
