It's basically an iPod...but it's not in production yet. With several hundred thousand iPods out there already, I think Apple is safe...after all neither are revolutionary products...
It's still 9g heavier than an iPod 15GB. The only thing it seems to have over the iPod is the ability to record? oh? well? WOW. That's great. I always wanted to be able to record myself singing? I guess.
Seriously, that's a really obscure feature to add to a music player. I'm not worried about this.

It does have hardened glass for the screen, which means it doesn't scratch (as easily). That seems nice...
