Power cord for BJC-2100

Does anyone have a Canon BJC-2100 bubble jet printer?

I've just gotten one from a family member, minus the power cord.

Went to Radio Shack and found a cord that fits, but I'm not sure if there's just supposed to be a cord to the outlet or a power brick (voltage regulator) on the cord.

Called Canon and the woman who answered found BOTH in the database and couldn't say which one I needed. )

The downloaded User Manual only says:

USA/Canada: AC 120V, 60Hz

Can anyone who has access to one of these let me know which it is? (A part number, if available, would be great too!

Just a cord... printer has 120V AC input, wall is 120V AC, no transformer needed.

My HP printer's transformer is inside the printer so it just has a power cord, FWIW.

Don't blame me if bad stuff happens of course

    Thanks.

I just went to Canon's Toronto office and picked up the cord.

Curiously, their "genuine part" was $5.70 and Radio Shack's was $5.99.

I thought generic parts were supposed to be cheaper!
