Is this what all you Early Adopters are doing ? or is Panther just an 'Update' can it be installed on a blank hard drive, or do you still need jagwire ?
I actually think there are no "early adoptors" as such, rather, I think most of the people have, like myself, a separate install of Panther on some other partition or drive, just to fool around with (with a Jaguar remaining the main install). Panther is, as far as I'm concerned, not ready for everyday use.
a-ha, that makes sense, when I first bought Jag the guy at the store said I had to have a previous version of OS X and this was an upgrade, well he was wrong as I figured he was, gone are the days when people in stores knew about the products they sell,
