Panther and Wallstreet Powerbook

Am I the only person who wants to install Panther on my Wallstreet Powerbook. I have upgraded it with a 500Mhz G4 and have plenty of RAM. 10.2 runs like a dream and I was hoping to install the Panther Preview and ultimately the final version of Panther when it comes out, but somehow Apple has quietly dropped support for my machine. I have searched the web adn tried XpostFacto, but can't seem to find any mention of this problem.



Any suggestions? I am of course holding out hope that this is just a limitation of the WWDC Preview version and that the final version will support my machine.

    Why would the final version support a machine that was explicitly removed support for in the developer preview?



    Maybe a new XPostFacto release will appear with the final.

    Xpostfacto is being upgraded to support Panther starting with version 3 - just wait & you'll see the reward!
