Update for Address Book (v3.0.3) v225?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
when I first got my TiBook I used Mail. then I got entourage and I used that. Well now Mail and Address book really cool to use...



Will Apple come up with some new or better features for its Address Book program? I like the Address book but I wish they would come out with some enhancements especially for organizing my contacts. Like color coading, catagories??

    Colour coding will probably come. Its part of Panther now, so why not.



    As for categories, what's wrong with creating groups ?

    Because categories are not the same as groups. Using them in the way you suggest would work, but it is a "hack".



    Categories are more like labels in the Finder (groups are kind of like folders).



    Categories are like keywords in iPhoto. Groups are more like photo albums.

    I hope they add a few more features to address book like adding more columns on the main view so that you can sort by company or email or etc...
