I guess that Macs are even more secure than I thought-- 4,096 times more so, in fact.

    Uh. You do realize that a little under 15h30m is still very fast for an average time, don't you?

    This discussion of password cracking isn't as critical as people have been making it out to be, since if someone has access to the hashes which are need for these cracking methods your security is in trouble no matter what platform you use.
