Hmm.. are you sure about that? Someone I talked to said it had that pulse effect in sleep mode.
I'm convinced that it does. Just look at the power symbol. It looks like it has been carved out and filled with lucite, so it will glow. Don't mark my words, but I think that it will. But I guess that the little hole above the Power button might be a light, but I tought it was a Paper-clip hole for Restart or Programmer's Mode.

Well, the machine I was drooling over at Siggraph had no light on the power button. It was all metal with a recessed symbol.

Come on guys and gals. The power button is exactly the same as it has been since last year on all the MDD and FW800 PMs.

That was actually just a consequence of putting the PSU on the bottom. There are pros and cons.
