The good news is because both USB and Bluetooth are well defined standards most adapters work, but the D-Link is the cheapest.
I just bought a new 667 from a presale auction for less than 2 grand. hmmm ... why does this matter - because I have to wait till after MWNY till they will ship it to me. I bet the reason i got such a deal is cause apple gave em cheap to the auctioneer

Mind telling me/us where? I'm getting my gf a laptop for her B-day and I was planning on an iBook, however, given that price on a Ti667 *I* just might have to upgrade and give her my Ti550.
Well I gave in cause I wasn't entirely comfortable on the new Powerbooks materializing so I got myself a Powerbook 800 for $2499!
At first my friend was certain and then since then it has gotten less and less certain to the point he said "if you can get one from your school at that price, go for it!"

MAN! How did you get it so cheap? The ed section of the Apple Store is only $3007!!
I'm looking into the TiBook -- probably used or promotionally-discounted if something fantabulous comes out at MWNY -- and I need some advice from you guys who've been experienced with them for a while. Browsing through Macintouch's reader reports for the past few months, I noticed significant issues with Apple's first edition of the computer. The successive revisions, according to the posts, seem to possess less hardware, nit-picky issues that I've read of (drive slot misaligned, etc.). What has been y'all's experience? Should caution be had towards early PBG4 models (400/500 MHz)?
A new model next wednesday would be handy for me and other money-crunchers ---- liquidation galore!!

Consider this, if there are no PowerMacs then Jobs needs to release something else. 17" iMacs are just an update, Jaguar is just an update (a big one), Xserve is a recap, faster iBooks is an update, 20Gb iPod is an update.
So a MWNY with nothing new? It seems unlikely.
A surprise DDR Powerbook would fit well with a PowerMac in August.
Rumor has it that Steve Jobs himself is monitoring AppleInsider, and whichever thread is at the top of the list in the Future Hardware section the minute he walks on stage for his keynote is the product that will be updated.

LOL riiight. Because the financial futures of all the stockholders out there and Apple's legal responsibility to them both play second fiddle to Steve toying with this motley bunch...
So confident? Start a thread about a $500 Quad-G4 SuperMac and post to it every minute til the keynote <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
I hate to say it, but I'm afraid it'll be the tablet, maybe in a couple of months. Too many folk in Apple retail talking about Wacom for my liking. I hope this is just down to Inkwell over-enthusiasm.

Sounds like another apple supplier we all love.

And where are all the rumors?
All I've seen are speculations, which have been very interesting.

Yup, desperate. Anyone notice how low-key this Macworld is?
