I wish I had an iPod bigger that 10gig--I swap out songs almost nightly. Of course, I've been collecting CD's since 86 or so, and have over 2000 discs. I also subscribe to eMusic, and I like to download and listen to older music or experimental music that I might not listen to a lot, but like to learn from.
I love my iPod, before it I used to carry around 20-30 cds into work. Now, I just have my sleek little buddy.
2) I still have 6GB free on my 15GB iPod, but I am reluctant to rip the last aprox. 100 CD's until I find an AAC encoder for my PC or I get my first Mac. (I think I will get the next 15" Powerbook)
I am already thinking that I should have bought the 30 GB iPod.
2: Haven't filled it yet, but give me a week or two.
I've got a few image files on there that I've transported for friends that I let use my scanner that didn't have any media. Before I had an ISP for my home I'd download software updates to it and take them home. Damn handy.
1. About 500 songs or about 2 GB on my 10 GB Ipod. I love the Ipod. I love it so much that it helped me to decide to switch over to Apple computers. I am hoping that the new PB come out soon so that I can start my switch to Apple soon.
I understand Leonis' dilemma. There are only so many Sarah Brightman and Loreena McKennitt songs out there.
Hey Mr Ton!
I do listen to many artists. I always have the iTunes on everytime when my tower is on and there are like over 1800 songs but a lot of them aren't my favourite
When I am heading out I find it better to have something to listen while waiting for the bus or on the transit. But I don't want to listen to the same songs that I listen at home again and again and again....especially to those I am not 100% enjoying.
That's why I only put the songs I REALLY like on my Yepp and the number is always around 50-55....which my Yepp can handle without problems....
I just got my wife an iPod last night for our anniversary and we put our whole iTunes music library onto it. 4GB for 908 songs. She has a lot of ripping to do now.

2. Nope not even close. Currently only about 7.5 out of 30 GB is used. The other 4.5 GB is mainly work stuff so it easy to transport.
