Ok so I know all the little ins and outs of soundtrack but what i would like to know before I buy it is... can you import other loops or music into it to edit?

Yes it supports ACID loops too. And there are thousands of those available.

ok great so one more thing... can you take existing music say from a cd like... Zoro and edit that??? like cut and crossfade kinda stuff?

Yes you can create your own loops and save them in Soundtracks unique format. I'm not sure if you can save them as ACID files though.

Soundtracks "unique" format?
I thought it was just .aif and .wav?

Yes you can create your own loops and save them in Soundtracks unique format. I'm not sure if you can save them as ACID files though.
