How can you not like Shrek? Is it because it's not from Pixar??
I thought Finding Nemo would be good, but Pixar keeps making movies better then the last, and always surpassing my expectations. They great thing is they actually make them, the plot and everything. I wonder how the next one will surpass Finding Nemo!
I had too much time on my hands, so I was browsing through my VHS collection (which is pathetic) and Caper was amongst them. So I popped it in and watched it a new, and I must say that the word ?bitch? is used repeatedly thought the movie. No wonder I grew up to be such a bastard.
And what?s with the penis tower on the cover of Little mermaid?
iDunno Tonton, I think Shrek made a decent enough anti-fairytale for the kiddies. It seemed to have its moral sense screwed on straighter than something like those Rankin/Bass "Animagic" Christmas specials, and those are considered TV classics. I'll probably let my kids watch them, but only so that they can tell all the other kids how Santa is an a$$hole. Well, just before they tell all the other kids that Santa is a fabrication. Great fun! (and yes, I'm 100% serious)

It IS funny applenut ! ... I doubt the image was made to be shown to 4 year olds as they exit the theatre ... in that context it wouldn't be funny.
Au contrare, that is precisely the context in which it would be funniest. Perhaps as an Easter Egg on the DVD?

I LOVED Finding Nemo. I think it was the best of the Pixar films so far. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy making fun of it.
always amusing when someone like yourself writes more in response.

Tangentially, I had scenes from "A Fish called Wanda" running through my head last night.
