I don't know why, but for some reason I'm finding the 15" PowerBook more attractive now. 8)

They don't seem to be having much fun, do they?

But hey, people who can like shoes like that probably don't understand the concept of "fun"?

Too bad, I was hoping for Janie Porche...

What I think is odd about the ad is that there is no Apple logo - except on the PowerBooks' lids obviously - and no www.apple.com/whatever.

Why is it that only the white guy has his head tilted toward the PB screen... the others seem to be in lala land and enjoy using there PB without looking at the screen.

It's entirely possible some of you are reading a tad too much into this ad: Asian penis size, guy looking at computer/others not, space between the girl and guy, Apple logos, etc.

Just agree that the Asian guy is probably on steroids or has a thyroid condition, the girl is a complete babydoll/sexpot and the white guy seems to be prepping for an interview to join the "Queer Eye" cast and be done with it.

It's just an ad. Probably many more to come.

It's "seemless" as in theres no cut where the magazine had to fold, and murbot got it from a digital mag, so he, per say, didn't actually do it.

Yes, it's just a screenshot from a digital version of the MacWorld magazine.

Is it just me, or does it seem like each laptop was just "Photoshopped" into the picture? Each is on a perfect plane, and seems too perfect...but it's Apple and Chiat. Naahhhh.....

(edit: was typing this as picture above came in -- my reference is to the original image in the ad.)

No doubt. They're too perfectly aligned, and too well lit. But, they stand out in the image, which is probably the point.

And they probably wanted to hide what they guys really do with their hands.

What explains exactly why the asian guy got the small PB.

    Am I in hell yet?

I think this has been said, but if Apple had the asian guy with the 17" Powerbook, we'd all be commenting that his laptop was compensating for something...and if they didn't put him in the ad at all, Apple would be somehow racist.

    You can't win in advertising.
