G3 800 ibook display issues

My wife's ibook is acting weird, The sisplay is all wacked out. The settings were suddenly set at 2566 and 800X600?! WTF? I put thm back to Millions ad 1024X768 but it still looks weird. Help

    More info, please. What OS, what programs were you running? A game, perhaps, or a flash/powerpoint presentation?
