What helps you through the daily grind?
It's Sunday evening. Another work week is upon us. We all know the days when getting out of the bed in the morning is difficult.
Obviously there's religion for some. But it could also be a book, a movie or person who has made all the difference in your life. So what or who helps motivate you to strive to do better?

Hmm, I just noticed you could switch your answers from this thread and the "last meal" thread, and probably be no worse off.

gu gel is like a power bar liquified, it's good for mountain biking, only need one hand. you could rub it on your nuts i suppose, but any nutritional benefit would be nil.

Am I the only one that likes what they do?
I love what I do, every day, but I still need a break to clear the lungs and to give myself a fresh perspective.
Even Edison used to take "power naps "..to boost his batteries.

One word... music.
I concur. Music and quick breaks for drawing or walking around campus.

I'm a big napper. If I'm not doing anything physical (times of high academic duress or when I'm injured, I tend to run on 4 hour naps followed by 10 hours of vigilance. . . One of those things you can do when you're a student. . . and when you work for yourself. (sort of).
Edison was a tool, though. Most of his inventions, if I remember correctly were basically developed by people he hired. Then the whole AC vs DC debacle is where he officially lost a lot of credibility.

Sounds like M Soft & A e took a leaf out of his book...
My days are generally occupied by playing with my kids or diving. Pretty easy to deal with, and hardly considered a "Grind"
God, I'm glad I don't have to go to work M-F 9-5.
