Problems with Safari

hi... im having some trouble with Safari, when i first run Safari i can use it ok for about 5-10 minutes then when i try to navigate it just keeps "Contacting "http://www.apple.com"..."; ... its not my internet connection because i can surf with any other browser normally... anyone?? any fix??

    well i honestly have no clue how to help you, but it looks like the forum decided to turn your console stuff into artwork.... best of luck.

    i finally fixed it... i just changed the name of my hardrive from "(? ?) iBook)" to one with spaces nor strange characters "iBook"... hope these helps any one

    the question marks were an apple and the command sign but the forum doesnt display them
