I've never heard of the guy, but it's the best version of the song I've ever heard. For some reason everyone seems to think it's by Steve Vai, even though Vai's official website says it's not.
I'm listening to a recording I just made in GB, it's my most epic recording yet, 9 minutes long, over 40 tracks, at least 20 of those are live audio, it's my adaptation of a jaco pastorius tune(my favorite jaco tune) called 'reza'
I'm pleased with how it's come out so far, but I am noticing things here and there that need improving, either way, It's long been a dream of mine to record this song, arranging all the parts, and playing them all, it's pretty fantastical to see this dream materialize.
I've been listening to Townes Van Zandt all day. I finally broke down and bought the 4 remaining 'must have' Townes albums and I'm revisiting the albums I already had too.

It's off a 7" on Razor records...not sure if it made it onto any CDs yet.

Awesome album. I *ahem* acquired it a couple of months ago, and it's seriously fun stuff.
